Alice O’Donovan

Alice O'Donovan serves as Director of First Impressions for the Law Offices of John D. Laughton, A Professional Law Corporation — and that title says it all. Whether you call the office or walk through the door, Alice is the first person you'll encounter, and she makes sure that first experience sets the right tone. She greets every client with warmth, takes the time to truly listen, and makes it her mission to understand exactly what you need and how the firm can best help.

Alice brings a remarkably well-rounded background to her role. With 15 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation, over 40 years of working directly with the public, and a license as a Notary Public, she has the skills and temperament to put clients at ease.

Originally raised in Southern Oregon, Alice has called the Monterey Peninsula home since 1988. She and her husband Paul have been married since 2003. Outside the office, she is an avid SF Giants fan who loves catching games in person, and she stays active through walking, hiking, and cycling. When she's not on the move, you'll find her at home with her three cats, Elsa, Lenny, and George, or gathered around the table with family and friends for a spirited round of board or card games. Her greatest joy, above all, is time spent with her three grandchildren, Giuseppe, Giovanna, and Scarlett.
